Champeaux is Paris’s Premiere Gourmet Brasserie

Restaurant Champeaux, opened in April this year by Alain Ducasse, is a refreshing and approachable take on a classic brasserie in a modern environment. Located in the new Forum des Halles, the menu features gourmet-prepared classics with moderate prices.

The restaurant is a ten-minute walk from the Pompidou Center, and great for lunch to observe the changes in Paris. The foie gras terrines, escargot, and onion soup are especially delightful, and they are known for the cheese soufflé. On weekends during lunch, you’ll find the restaurant packed with Parisians. Its location is ideal for an after-meal walk to the Marais. Also noteworthy is the beautiful park dedicated to Nelson Mandela being built across from the restaurant, offering a new view to an already-gorgeous vantage.
